figured wood, the swivelling top with rounded corners
and raised on an obelisk pillar, concave platform and
leaf-scroll legs with paw feet, 2ft. 11 in. wide (89cm.)

AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY GILT OVERMANTEL MIRROR
with a ball-decorated moulded comice above a
panel depicting a classical scene, the triple bevelled mirror plate flanked by
reeded pilasters, 2ft. lVMn. high by4ft. 6V2in. wide (54cm. by 137.5cm.) circa 1820.
A SET OF PAINTED CORNER SHELVES, the six
graduated tiers decorated with gold flowers on a black
ground, 2ft. 5in. high (74cm.).
A GEORGE IV MAHOGANY CENTRE TABLE, the
rectangular top with rounded corners and a reeded edge
and inlaid with a brass band, raised on a turned column
and four reeded down-curved legs, 2ft. 4in. high by
4ft. wide (71cm. by 122cm.) circa 1825, brass band possibly
later.
A WILLIAM IV FOUR-PEDESTAL DINING TABLE,
the piain top on massive pedestals supported on down-curved
hipped sabre legs, and brass castors, 2ft. 5in. high by 13ft. 2in. wide
(73.5cm. by 401cm.) circa 1835.

A GEORGE IV SOFA TABLE with two real and two opposing dummy
drawers, in the frieze, on ring-turned baluster stems and moulded down-curved
legs and brass castors, joined by a
turned stretcher, 3ft. 5V2in. high by 4ft. Hin. wide (75cm. by 150cm.) circa 1825.
A WILLIAM IV ANGLO-INDIAN HARDWOOD TRIPOD TABLE,
the circular top set with a panel embroidered with wool and
silk on a cream ground, with lotus carved pillar and concave
triangular base, 2ft. lin. high by lft. 8in. diameter (64cm. by 52cm.)
circa 1830.
A LOUIS XV PROVINCIAL WALNUT POUDREUSE
with ebony bandings, the triple divided serpentine
top with a mirror-lined centre and each flap with
apertures for fittings, the frieze with a slide and two drawers,
one fitted with iron writing implements,
on cabriole legs, 2ft. 5in. high by 2ft. 4in. wide
(74cm. by 72cm.) circa 1750, with restorations, with some contemporary Louis XV glass fittings
and with some faience fittings.
A LOUIS XV BEECHWOOD PANEL with three fielded
panels, the upper one with a serpentine top, 5ft. 3′/2in.
high by Ift. 9in. wide (161cm. by 53cm.) circa 1760, now
mounted with a lidded copper cistern with a repousse
coat of arms above a copper basin.
AN ITALIAN PAINTED TRIPOD TABLE, the oval top
decorated in chinoiserie with an Emperor and his
attendant, on a ring-turned baluster stem and cabriole
legs, 2ft. 4in. high by 2ft. 5in. diam. (71cm. by 73cm.)
mid 18th Century.
A DUTCH MAHOGANY CHEST of serpentine shape
with four graduated long drawers, shaped apron and
splayed feet, 2ft. 8in. high by 3ft. 8in. wide (81cm. by
112cm.) circa 1770.
A GOOD SCROLLED PAPERWORK VOTIVE PICTURE
with an engraving of the infant Jesus flanked by vases of
flowers and enclosed by brightly coloured and gilded
scrolled paperwork, in a moulded giltwood frame, lft.
3′/2in. by lft. ‘Mn. (39cm. by 31.5cm.) mid-18th Century,
Spanish or Italian, distressed.
A SOUTH GERMAN WALNUT WRITING TABLE, the
cartouche-shaped top set with a tooled leather panel, on
hipped cabriole legs, 2ft. 5V2in. high by 3ft. 3′/2in. wide
(75cm. by Im.) circa 1760, restored.
A Louis XV GILTWOOD FOOT-STOOL, the
cartouche-shaped frame carved with flowerheads, on
short cabriole legs, circa 1750.
A GOANESE TABLE BOOK STAND in ebony, the plat-
form and rail inlaid with a pattern of ivory spots, with
four ebony pillars and porcupine quill spindles,
lft. wide (39cm.) late 18th Century.
A DUTCH MAHOGANY AND MARQUETRY BUREAU,
the ogee flap inlaid with a large oval and enclosing a fitted
interior with a well, with three drawers in the ogee front
above an apron inlaid and carved with a portrait
medallion, on claw and bail feet, 3ft. 6in. wide by
3ft. Win. high (107cm. by 117cm.) third-quarter 18th
Century.
A Louis XV PROVINCIAL PINE CUPBOARD with serpentine moulded
cornice, the frieze with a roundel of a basket of flowers
flanked by fruiting grape and a pair of doors with shaped fielded panels, also carved with flowers,
and the slightly projecting lower part with a pair
of similar doors, with fluted oak corner posts con-tinuing into the scroll front feet, 7ft. Win. high by 4ft. 9′/2in. zvide (239cm. by 146cm.) circa 1770.
A DUTCH KINGWOOD AND TULIPWOOD COMMODE
with three long drawers inlaid with chequer banding,
2ft. Win. high by 3ft. 9in. wide (87cm. by 114cm.) circa
1780, with a mirror top and turned feet ?400-600
