CHAIRS including a pair of Armchairs, with curved top-
rails and pierced vase-shaped splats, drop-in seats and
square chamfered legs joined by H-stretchers, the arm-
chairs with outcurved scrolling arms, circa 1765, some
re-railed and some splats restored.
AN EARLY GEORGE III MAHOGANY TALLBOY,
the dentil comice above three short and three long drawers,
with fluted canted corners, the lower part with a brush¬ing slide and three long drawers, on bracket feet, 6ft. 2in. high by 4ft.
(188cm. by 122cm.) circa 1770.
A GEORGE III MAHOGANY BUREAU CABINET
with a moulded dentil comice above a pair of glazed
astragal mullioned doors, the lower part with a flap enclosing a fitted interior above two short drawers flanked by lopers,
with three graduated long drawers and bracket feet, 7ft. 5in. high by
3ft. 7in. wide (223cm. by 109cm.) lower part circa 1770, Upper part 19th Century.
A GEORGE III MAHOGANY CUTLERY BOX with
sloping lid and elaborately shaped front crossbanded in
tulipwood and satinwood, 83Ain. wide (22.5cm.) circa
1770, interior fitted for stationery.
A MAHOGANY DISPLAY CABINET, the moulded
comice above a pair of thirteen-panel glazed doors each
with two dummy drawers in the lower part with a long
drawer below, eft. 7in. high by 4ft. 6in. wide (201cm. by
145cm.) constructed using parts of a mid-18th Century
bookcase.
AN EARLY GEORGE III CARVED GILTWOOD OVER-
MANTEL MIRROR, the triple divided mirror plate with
bevelled edge within a frame carved with scrolls, flower-
heads and acanthus and with an acanthus leaf cresting,
2ft. 6in. high by 4ft. wide (76cm. by 131cm.) circa
1760.
A GEORGE II MAHOGANY TRIPOD TABLE with a
hinged top supported on a ring-turned baluster, on
cabriole legs and pad feet, 4in. high by 2ft. 4in. diameter
(71cm. by 71cm.) circa 1740.
A GEORGE II MAHOGANY PRESS with a shaped
stepped comice and a pair of panelled cupboard doors
above two short and two long drawers in the base, on
ogee bracket feet, 6ft. 4lhin. high by 4ft. 4′/2in. wide
by 2ft. deep (194cm. by 134cm. by 61cm.) circa 1750, two
drawers dummy.
A SET OF FOUR EARLY GEORGE III MAHOGANY
CHAIRS in the Chinese style, the arched backs with Chinese
fret and the drop-in seats with shaped front seat-rail and
square chamfered legs, circa 1764 ?600-800
V Each chair bearing a label stating that it was made for the
Card Room at the Assembly Rooms, Bath in 1764 and was there until sold in 1909

each arched back with three fluted and leaf-carved
splats, with stuffed bow-fronted leather-covered seats and
square tapering legs joined by stretchers, circa 1785.

galleried circular top and turned baluster stem with
tripod legs ending in pad feet, 2ft. 6′Ain. high by 12′Ain.
diameter (76.5cm. by 31.5cm.) mid-18th Century, gallery

TABLE, with moulded rectangular top and square cham-

the square tapering legs carved and joined by pierced fretwork
stretchers, high by 2ft. 10in. wide (56cm. by 86cm.) circa 1765, restored.

the rectangular two-flap top above a single drawer,
on square chamfered legs joined by a platform stretcher, 2ft.
high by 2ft. 8in. wide (70.5cm. by 81cm.) circa 1765.
A LATE GEORGE II MAHOGANY “SPIDER”-LEG TEA TABLE,
the rectangular top with two flaps, with a drawer in the frieze,
with turned legs and stretchers, 2ft. 4in. high 2ft. 7in. wide (71.5cm. by 79cm.) circa 1760.
“A GEORGE III MAHOGANY SIDE OR SERVING TABLE,
the rectangular slab top above a moulded fluted frieze,
the square tapering legs decorated with blind fret and
headed by carved paterae, 2ft. high by 5ft. 6′Ain.

rail.
A MID-GEORGIAN MAHOGANY CLOTHES PRESS with
dentil comice, the pair of doors enclosing four tray
shelves, with two short and one long drawer below, on
bracket feet, 5ft. 5in. high by 4ft. 2in. (165cm. by
127cm.) circa 1765.
A GEORGE III MAHOGANY TRIPOD TABLE, the
circular top with cage support and partially spirally
gadrooned stem, the legs with claw-and-ball feet,
2ft. 3V2in. high by lft. diameter (70cm. by 54cm.)
circa 1765.

the piain top with rounded flaps over an arched frieze
