A GEORGE III STYLE MINIATURE CHEST
of two short and three long drawers with curved apron,
on bracket feet, 8V4in. high by wide (21cm. by 16.5cm.)

A REGENCY TOILET MIRROR with rectangular plate, turned
supports and a pair of drawers in the bowed base, on turned
feet, 2ft. 2in. wide (68cm.) circa 1805.

A MARQUETRY CABINET ON CHEST, with an ogee
comice and a pair of doors enclosing an arrangement of
thirteen drawers and a cupboard, the lower part with
two short and two long drawers, on bracket feet, both
parts inlaid with strapwork designs and foliate marquetry,
5ft.high by 4ft. wide (166cm. by 122cm.) both parts
circa 1690, but possibly not originally together, some
inlay, handles and bracket feet.

A CHARLES II WALNUT CABINET ON STAND, the
upper part with a moulded comice above a convex
frieze drawer inlaid with panels of seaweed marquetry,
the pair of doors each with an oval seaweed marquetry
panel within broad chevron banding and enclosing an

seaweed marquetry drawers and raised on five spiral-
twist legs with silvered wood capitals and leaf-carved
decoration, joined by waved stretchers, on bun feet,
5ft. high by 3ft. 4in.(152cm. by 102cm.) circa 1670,
with restoration.

A WILLIAM AND MARY WALNUT CHEST ON STAND, with veneered
crossbanded top and two short and three graduated long drawers,
with a long drawer in the base, on bulbous ring-turned baluster
legs joined by a wavy stretcher, on turned feet, 4ft. 2′/2in.
high by 3ft. 6in. zoide (128cm. by 107cm.) circa 1700, later legs.

A GEORGE I WALNUT SECRETAIRE TALLBOY,
the upper part with cavetto comice and three short and three
long crossbanded drawers with fluted canted corners, the lower
part with a fitted secretaire drawer and two long drawers,
on bracket feet, 6ft. 6in. high by 3ft. 8in. wide (198cm. by 112cm.)
circa 1720, extensively restored and interior of secretaire drawer replaced.

A QUEEN ANNE WALNUT WING ARMCHAIR, the stufFed straight-topped back
with shaped wings and stuffed out-curved arms, the stufFed seat on
carved cabriole legs with pad feet, and joined by turned H-stretchers
to the partly turned back legs, circa 1710.

A GEORGE II SERPENTINE MAHOGANY SILVER TABLE,
the dished top incurved at each side and the frieze with
a drawer and two slides, raised on simple cabriole legs
with hoof feet, 2ft. 5in. high by 2ft. wide (74cm. by
80cm.) circa 1740.

A GEORGE I WALNUT BUREAU, the Aap enclosing
a fitted interior of small drawers, pigeon-holes, a cupboard
and a well, with two short and two long drawers below
each with a hollywood and boxwood line, on bracket

lopper drawers and a frieze drawer and two short and
two graduated drawers, on bracket feet, 7ft. lin. high
by 3ft. wide (212cm. by 117cm.) circa 1740, later
gilt-metal lock-plates and handles.

A LATE GEORGE I WALNUT SIDE TABLE, the cross-
bandecl top above two deep drawers flanking one short
drawer with an arched apron, on turned legs and pad
feet, 2ft. 4in. high by 2ft. 5in. wide (71cm. by 73cm.) circa
1720.

A GEORGE I WALNUT GAMES TABLE, with pro-
jecting rounded corners, polished interior with counter
wells, raised on cabriole legs headed by carved shells and
ending in trefoil feet, 2ft. 8in. wide (81cm.) circa 1725,
restored.

A SMALL GEORGE II MAHOGANY TEA OR GAMES TABLE
with rectangular top, the frieze with a drawer in the right
and outlined with a gilded bead-moulding, raised on cabriole legs
carved with leaves and a cabochon and ending in piain pad feet,
2ft. 4V2in. high by 2ft. lin. wide (72cm. by 64cm.) circa 1740
V Exhibited at the lOth Antique Dealers’ Fair,
Grosvenor House.

A GEORGE II MAHOGANY KNEEHOLE WRITING DESK,
the moulded top with canted corners, the front with a
brushing slide above a frieze drawer and with six short
drawers flanking a fret-carved shallow drawer and a
slightly recessed cupboard, with fluted canted corners,
and bracket feet, 2ft. 9in. high by 3ft. wide (84cm. by
93cm.) circa 1750.

A GEORGE II PARCEL-GILT MAHOGANY WALL MIRROR,
the rectangular plate with an inner gilt mould-ing and
flanked by trailing gilt leaves and flowers, with a shaped
pierced and incised apron and cresting, the later applied rococo
gilt mouldings and a gilt bird, 3ft. high by lft. min. wide (92cm. by 47cm.) circa 1750.

A GEORGE II MAHOGANY CHEST ON STAND, the
upper part with a cavetto cornice and two short and three
long drawers, the stand with one long and two short
drawers above a shaped apron, on cabriole legs, the
front two carved with shells and ending in claw and
ball feet, 5ft. 3in. high by 3ft. 3in. wide (160cm. by 99cm.)
circa 1750, damaged.

A BOW-FRONTED CORNER DISPLAY CABINET in two
parts, the upper with a moulded and dentil cornice
above a pair of doors with lancet glazing bars, the lower
part with a pair of piain doors, on bracket feet, 6ft. 8in.
high by 2ft. Vzin. wide (203cm. by 62cm.) top part circa
1765, lower part circa 1750.

A GEORGE II WALNUT STOOL in the French style,
the padded serpentine top raised on moulded cabriole
legs with scroll feet, 2ft. lin. long (64cm.) restored and
with later applied frieze moulding.

A GOOD MAHOGANY SIDE TABLE with verde antico
marble top, the cavetto frieze centred by scrollwork
above a shaped convex apron incised with diamond
trellis centred by a bearded grotesque mask flanked
by scrolls and continuing in leafy scrolls into the cabriole
legs, ending on leaf scroll feet of exaggerated form,
2ft. 9V2in. high by 4ft. 3in. wide (85cm. by 130cm.) circa
1740, possibly Irish, top replaced.

Thomas Godwin is recorded as being active between 1832-1839 and had left the Piazza address by 1830.
