CHAIRS including a pair of Armchairs, with curved top-
rails and pierced vase-shaped splats, drop-in seats and
square chamfered legs joined by H-stretchers, the arm-
chairs with outcurved scrolling arms, circa 1765, some
re-railed and some splats restored.

AN EARLY GEORGE III MAHOGANY TALLBOY,
the dentil comice above three short and three long drawers,
with fluted canted corners, the lower part with a brush¬ing slide and three long drawers, on bracket feet, 6ft. 2in. high by 4ft.

A WILLIAM AND MARY WALNUT SECRETAIRE
CABINET, the upper part with a drawer in the cushion
frieze above a fall-front enclosing a fitted interior with a
central cupboard surrounded by drawers and pigeon-
holes and also with secret compartments, the lower part
with two short and two long drawers, 5ft. 2in. high by
3ft. 5in. zoide (157cm. by 104cm.) circa 1700, later bun
feet.

A CARVED GILTWOOD PICTURE FRAME, pierced with
scrolls and cherubs, 2ft. 3in. high by lft. 7V2in. zoide,
(68.5cm. by 49.5cm.) late 17th Century, now with a rec-
tangular mirror-plate.

A BLACK LACQUER CABINET ON STAND with a pair of cupboard
doors ornately decorated in gilt with figures in landscapes,

of Mathew Darly, with an arched toprail centred by an

ball feet, circa 1740.

A REGENCY ROSEWOOD TEA TABLE, the hinged
swivelling top and a shaped frieze with ivory and ebony
paterae, the simulated rosewood column on a platform
support with leaf-carved splayed legs, 2ft. 5lhin. high by
3ft. wide (75cm. by 91cm.) circa 1820.

A LATE GEORGE III MAHOGANY ARMCHAIR with a
rectangular caned back, moulded frame curved down to
form the arms with ring-turned baluster supports, the
solid seat with loose cushion, on ring-turned legs and
brass castors, circa 1820.
